Our Cellular Difference

Everyone has heard of stem cells by now! These cells can be obtained from various tissue sources including fat, bone marrow, teeth, umbilical cord blood and tissue, amniotic fluid and tissue, and the placenta. It is well known that all cells in the body, including stem cells, age as we do and with time our stem cell pool becomes exhausted. This is why healthy, young stem cells are robust and offer the best alternative. These cells, such as umbilical cord lining stem cells (ULSCs), have been shown to be superior to that of other stem cell sources1.

In the United States today, you will hear the term “stem cells” being used throughout for various conditions. This term is unfortunately being exploited, as 99% of what is available in the U.S. is ground up post-natal tissue (cord tissue, amniotic tissue, and placenta), of which the actual percentage of stem cells is less than 1%. This means that of those “stem cells” being offered, only 1 out of 100 cells is an actual stem cell. Even more alarming is adult stem cells from adipose (fat) or bone marrow, where the rate of stem cells is far less than 0.01% of the total cells obtained. How effective is this?

While these cells may have some clinical potential, studies have demonstrated that stem cells isolated from umbilical cord cells have far superior immune regulating and regenerative properties. In addition to this, adult stem cells come with their own (and your own) inherited deficiencies, where they are as old as you are and may lack the healing properties of young, naïve cells1-3. Stem cells isolated from umbilical cord cells, on the other hand, have characteristics of a much younger, and therefore much more effective, cell.

One of the primary concerns in using stem cells from umbilical cord donors should be the health of the donor. REHEALTH’s proprietary and patented umbilical cord lining stem cells (ULSCs) come from healthy, full-term donors that pass our vigorous testing according to U.S. standards. We even go above and beyond with over 15 years of research & development in the testing and production of these stem cells. Our cells are approximately that of a 15-year-old biological age – when we are very healthy and have a robust immune and healing response.

Our 6-step qualification process for our cells starts at:

  1. Extensive donor screening.
  2. Of most importance, our qualified donors have to be free of Epstein Barr virus and Cytomegalovirus, which effect greater than 75% of the world’s population.
  3. Isolating the ULSCs based on our proprietary growth parameters.
  4. Testing for chromosomal aberrations which will tell us if there are genetic issues – this is done by growing many of the cells and aging them to test for genetic deficiencies.
  5. Characterizing the cells via growth curve, morphology, viability, size, population doublings (time), potency, marker expression, and differentiation capabilities.
  6. Lastly and most importantly, sterility to include all parameters required by the FDA as a cellular therapeutic drug. This is why we only have 2 cell lines that are qualified to bring you consistency in the product.

Many scientists and researchers believe these stem cells are the gold standard and rank far above that of bone marrow, adipose (fat), and amniotic fluid. REHEALTH’s stem cells are extracted from the umbilical cord of healthy, tested donors and then cultured, which increases the number of cells by more than 100-fold.

Umbilical Lining SCs have more superior growth potential, demonstrating that they are younger and more vibrant.

With this cutting-edge system, you are getting hundreds of millions of stem cells that are the approximate age of a 15-year-old. Imagine if you’re 45 years old and taking your own stem cells, which are 3x as old and much weaker. In addition, by taking your own bone marrow, you’re depleting your own stem cell stores and weakening your immune system. There is no comparison in the potency and power of REHEALTH’s stem cells, which is why people fly in from all over the world for the world’s gold-standard in precision stem cell therapy.
